RDA Digital

What started as a speculative pitch became a long-term creative partnership. Early-stage visual concepting helped establish a new direction for RDA Digital, a Maryland-based enterprise agency with 30 years of history. The work grew from there into web, social, and marketing design across an ongoing engagement.

Execution

RDA Digital had built a strong reputation over 30 years in enterprise digital transformation, but their visual brand hadn't kept pace. The engagement began as an exploratory pitch — early concepting to establish what a modernized direction could look like — before growing into a longer-term creative partnership.

The Challenge

The existing brand was dense and monochromatic, effective but limiting. The goal wasn't a full reinvention — it was evolution. Introducing more structural variety, lighter elements, and a boxing-based layout system to give the brand more room to breathe while staying true to what it had already established.

The Direction

The earliest phase is often where a project's direction is won or lost. The work began here, developing visual concepts before any decisions were made, and exploring a glass refraction aesthetic that ultimately shaped the brand's new direction. That foundation carried through into the broader execution: layout systems, case study design, and social graphics, translating the visual language into a coherent, scalable system across touchpoints.

Result

A visual direction that earned the client's trust and grew into a long-term creative engagement, with the brand continuing to evolve across web, social, and marketing touchpoints.
